Blog of the week for this week is the marvelously eclectic, endlessly fascinating ‘Falcata Times’ run by Gareth Wilson. As with the other blogs, there’s a range of book reviews, mainly of historical and fantasy books but laced with author interviews that give a personal depth to the site. (mine is here).
The joy and the wonder of these sites is that they introduce us - well, me - to books I’d never have heard of otherwise. I’ve just been to Amazon and ordered The Outcast Blade by Jon Courtney Grimwood (surely a made up name? - but fantastic for a fantasy author) on the strength of the review.
