So… exactly how much free computer time do you have? If the answer is, ‘too much’, then you’ll want to join the other 11 million people round the world watching the bald eagle nest here. There’s one more chick to hatch. Never let it be said that this blog was late to the party.
That apart, I’m home from the most astounding Earth Gate. They’re all astounding really, just that each new one feels more astounding than the last. Someone mailed me this morning to ask how it went (hat tip to Ben) and this is what I wrote:
Awe-inspiring and humbling and leaves me feeling heart-raw and giddy at the immensity of people’s courage and willingness to trust - and what happens when they do both of those things… I never cease to be utterly astonished by the possibilities of the work.
Which is about as articulate I get when describing things that are impossible to articulate…
Other news is that the HWA website is very nearly live. After a week of solid work and almost no writing done at all (vast relief that I handed in Eagle of the Twelfth early or I’d be in serious stress by now) we’re pretty close to done. So hold your breath for one more day and then check out The HWA here.
And final news is that I took the plunge and signed up to Susan Garrett’s online ‘recallers 2.0′ course which is teaching me more about intelligent use of learning theory than I had ever thought possible. Too late to sign up, but not too late to look at her blog - here
Now all I need to do is decide on breed of new pup, and get going. Meanwhile, small white rocket-beast is a very happy beagle (or, indeed, cocker).

lucky you thinking of a new pup~we keep thinging of getting another springer, then flynt wears us out, eats our graden or the post and we re-think the idea!
finally started to read ‘The Emperor’s Spy’ and cannot put it down. I made myself laugh-I read a bit, then a bit more then I had the thought in my head ‘well now thats all a bit familiar’ then a few pennies dropped!
Cannot wait to read the next one and of course get all the ‘Dreaming’ with new covers!
